Here's where you get to find out more about me than
you ever wanted to know. Here is my life story in short form.
I was born in Fredericksburg, VA on July 29, 1970.
My mother was only 15 when I was born. I know it was hard for her, but
she is the best mother a girl could ask for. I grew up in West Virginia,
in the Parkersburg and Williamstown/Waverly areas. During my sophomore year
in high school, we moved from Waverly, WV to Midland Michigan. I only lived
there for 6 months, but it was during this time that I met Rob. We moved
back to West Virginia and Rob soon started college in Illinois. He came
to see me as much as possible (as he could afford to). After his first year
of college he moved back to Michigan and attended college at Northwood University
(wait - who's life story was this again). We talked on the phone almost every
day and he still came to see me as much as possible. During this time, we
got engaged to be married. Our original plan was to get married after he
finished college, but after a few months we decided to get married right
after I graduated high school. I graduated form Williamstown High School
on June 6, 1988 and moved to Michigan on June 7, 1988. We were married on
August 13, 1988. Nine months later, Ahmetia was born (well, maybe it was
8 - oops ;-) ). We both attended college at Northwood University.
Two years later, Katerina was born. I am proud to say that I did finish
college (with a fifth year, but I did it). I was working for Target part
time when I graduated, was promoted 6 months later and worked there a total
of 4 years (and one day). Last July we moved to New Jersey where Rob had
gotten a much better job offer and I quit working to stay home with the kiddies.
Soon we will have been married for NINE YEARS and I plan to have many many
more years ahead. There, Now you know more than you ever wanted to know
about me. If you read this far, I'm impressed!
The picture at the top of the page is one of those
glamour shots. It was taken about a year and a half ago. It's one of my
favorite pictures, if you ever get the chance, get one of these glamour sittings,
it was fun and I actually look somewhat attractive.
